Quality Control Specialist

On behalf of our client, a manufacturer of high-quality precision fasteners and engineered components for the automotive industry, we are seeking a Quality Control Specialist.

Job Description:

As a Quality Control Specialist, you will work closely with customers and production teams to provide real-time feedback and support in resolving quality-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform thorough inspections of automotive parts at different production stages to identify defects, deviations from specifications, and other quality issues.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance product quality and efficiency.
3. Investigate the root causes of quality issues and work on corrective and preventive actions to address them effectively.
4. Ensure that inspection equipment and tools are properly calibrated and maintained to ensure accurate measurements and tests.
5. Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, standards, and best practices to ensure the company's quality processes remain in compliance.
6. Work closely with customers to provide real-time feedback and support in resolving quality-related issues.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, quality management, or a related field preferred.
2. Proven experience (3+ years) in quality control and assurance within the automotive part manufacturing industry.
3. Strong knowledge of automotive industry quality standards, such as ISO/TS 16949.
4. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
5. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Problem-solving and root cause analysis abilities.
8. Knowledge of statistical analysis and quality control methodologies.
9. Familiarity with quality management software and tools is a plus.
10. Strong communication skills and fluent in English.
