Implement and maintain quality assurance procedures and protocols throughout the production process.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of raw materials, production equipment, and finished products to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company guidelines.
Develop and update quality control documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and quality specifications.
Collaborate with production teams to identify and address quality issues promptly.
Monitor and evaluate production processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Quality Control:
Perform thorough testing and analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using appropriate testing methods and equipment.
Document and analyze test results, identifying deviations from quality standards and initiating corrective actions as needed.
Maintain accurate records of quality control tests, inspections, and audits for traceability and compliance purposes.
Participate in the investigation of customer complaints or product non-conformances, implementing corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
Conduct internal quality audits to ensure adherence to quality management systems and regulatory requirements.
Compliance and Regulatory Affairs:
Stay updated on relevant food safety regulations, industry standards, and best practices to ensure compliance.
Assist in the development and implementation of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) plans and food safety programs.
Coordinate with regulatory agencies and third-party auditors during inspections and audits, addressing any findings or recommendations promptly.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field.
Proven experience in quality assurance/control within the food manufacturing industry.
Strong understanding of food safety principles and regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in conducting quality control tests and utilizing laboratory equipment.
