Quality Assurance Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements, change requests (CR), and production defects.
• Conduct thorough manual functional testing to ensure systems comply with Business Requirement Specifications (BRS), Functional Specifications, and technical documentation.
• Document and maintain comprehensive test results and reports.
• Identify and communicate potential risks related to incident delivery from the development team to the QA manager.
• Perform regression testing, functional testing, and support automation testing where applicable.
• Ensure high-quality standards by meticulously validating system functionality and identifying defects.

Requirements

• Proven experience in manual functional testing of core insurance applications, banking , or financial services environment.
• Strong knowledge of regression testing, functional testing, and familiarity with automation testing.
• Keen attention to detail and a strong aptitude for testing.
• Ability to analyze technical documentation, including high-level and low-level system designs.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and report testing results.
