HSE Manager Mission: To ensure the effective implementation of the HSE Management System to achieve an incident-free organization.
Main Responsibilities:
Implement HSE programs effectively.
Drive the achievement of HSE plant KPIs.
Identify areas for improvement to support an incident-free working environment.
Maintain HSE system certification as the HSE Management Representative, ensuring compliance with local government regulations and corporate HSE policy.
Communicate safety policies and procedures to all employees through HSE training, briefings, indoctrination, and other programs.
Manage the HSE department budget.
Activities:
Monitor and evaluate safety performance in all departments through audits and random controls, both internal and external, and decide on corrective/preventive actions while analyzing accidents and waste pollution within the plant.
Evaluate medical check-up programs for all employees, Usaha Kelola Lingkungan (UKL-UPL), wastewater treatment facility (Instalasi Pengolahan Limbah/IPAL), and production waste management.
Analyze and evaluate Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment and Determination Control (HIRADC) and work accident investigations, identifying and determining dangerous work zones to implement all safety signs and campaigns.
Standardize and recommend the procurement of PPE and safety equipment for employees in accordance with HIRADC, technical and safety specifications, and testing results. Evaluate the continuity and feasibility of usage.
Standardize and recommend the procurement of fire extinguishers and tools as needed in accordance with HIRADC, technical and safety specifications, and testing results. Responsible for refilling and usage frequencies.
Evaluate and conduct assessments of lifting operator licenses issued by governments or other regulatory bodies.
Evaluate safety indoctrination and training as needed and required.
Coordinate and supervise HSE monthly reviews.
Create and control the budget and work program, and report for the HSE Department.
Conduct, supervise, and ensure HSE programs and policies comply with laws and regulations, ensuring correct implementation.
Campaign and indoctrinate new HSE laws, regulations, and procedures. Prioritize department quality objectives.
Coordinate the implementation of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE/K3L).
