Job Specification

Education and Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, manufacturing, or quality management.
  2. Relevant certifications or training in quality control, six sigma, or lean manufacturing principles.

Experience:

  1. 2-5 years of experience in a quality control or quality assurance role within the toys or related manufacturing industry.
  2. Prior experience in a supervisory or lead role, managing a team of quality control inspectors or technicians.
  3. Knowledge of industry-specific quality standards, regulations, and best practices.

Technical Skills:

  1. Proficient in interpreting and applying quality control processes, procedures, and documentation.
  2. Familiarity with quality control tools and techniques, such as statistical process control, sampling methods, and inspection protocols.
  3. Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and product requirements.
  4. Proficient in using quality control software and data analysis tools.

Soft Skills:

  1. Able to communicate in English both actively and passively.
  2. Strong leadership and team management abilities, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  3. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and management.
  5. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  6. Flexibility and adaptability to respond to changing production needs or quality issues.

Job Description

  1. Supporting the QA/QC Supervisor in developing, implementing, and maintaining quality standards and procedures.
  2. Assisting in conducting audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  3. Providing guidance and training to QA/QC staff on quality control processes and procedures.
  4. Collaborating with other departments to identify and resolve quality issues.
  5. Assisting in the development of quality metrics and KPIs to monitor and improve performance.
  6. Helping to investigate and resolve customer complaints related to quality.
  7. Assisting in the preparation of reports and presentations on quality assurance activities.
