Note: This position is expected to be working with our client as an outsourced employee.

Join our dynamic team with our client at an IT Company focused on Ticketing, and play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our platform. As a QA Manual Tester, you will work closely with our Development Team to test and analyze various system features and software enhancements. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates with a passion for quality assurance and a keen eye for detail.

Job Description:

  1. Test Case Design and Execution: Collaboration with developers to create detailed, comprehensive test cases based on functional specifications and requirements documentation. Execute test cases manually.
  2. Exploratory Testing: Conduct exploratory testing to uncover defects, usability issues, and edge cases that may not be covered by formal test cases. Apply critical thinking and domain knowledge to simulate real-world usage scenarios and identify potential areas of improvement.
  3. Performance Testing: Design, execute, and analyze performance tests to assess the scalability, responsiveness, and stability of transportation software applications under various load conditions.
  4. Usability Testing: Evaluate the usability and user interface (UI) design of transportation software from an end-user perspective. Identify usability issues, navigation challenges, and accessibility concerns through usability testing sessions and user feedback analysis.
  5. Bug Tracking and Documentation: Document defects, issues, and test results in a structured manner using bug tracking tools. Clearly communicate findings to Developers, Support, Development team, and other stakeholders.
  6. Compliance and Monitoring: Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards, industry best practices, and customer requirements. Monitor and analyze customer feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  7. Continuous Learning and Improvement: Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, best practices, and technologies in software testing and quality assurance, particularly those relevant to the transportation industry.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in IT/Informatics Engineering / Information Systems is preferable, with 2-4 years of experience as software QA.
  2. Experience with QA tools and technologies - Postman and OBS is a plus.
  3. Proficient in conducting root cause analysis to identify and address underlying issues impacting software quality.
  4. Demonstrate good logical thinking, strong attention to detail, and seamless team communication skills.
  5. Ability to understand client’s business process and conduct use case testing.
  6. Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is a must.
  7. Experience working in the IT & transportation industry is a plus.
  8. Eager to learn and possess a can-do attitude.
  9. Experience in ticketing and CRM is a plus.
  10. Ability to present test findings on new features development.
