PURCHASING MANAGER

PT. Yilin Aguatech Indonesia is a China-USA joint company in Batam since 2019, we are manufacturing Irrigation products such as Sprayers and Pumps for the USA market. Now we are looking for a Purchasing Manager. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

Job Description:

• Evaluate bids for materials, equipment and supplies and select vendors for goods and services.
• Purchase materials and equipment, develop vendor agreements, and establish relationships.
• Manage inventory, pricing, and process changes.
• Prepare and raise purchase orders and order schedules.
• Develop and maintain a database of suppliers, vendors, and contractors.
• Inspect purchased products upon delivery and report any issues timely.
• Conduct research for new components and suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance and negotiate supplier contracts.
• Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses.
• Ensure that all legal requirements are met, including permits and licenses.
• Provide purchasing support through internal and external communication.

Requirements:

• Minimum education: Degree in Business Administration or relevant field.
• At least 5 - 10 years in a Purchaser role in the general industry, ideally from the Manufacturing Industry.
• Fluent communication in Mandarin and English at a professional level.
• Able to drive a car and possess a valid driving license.
• Good communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
• Able to work well under pressure and handle emergency and stressful situations.
