Insinyur Keselamatan akan bekerja di bawah pengawasan langsung Supervisor Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Shift Operasi, Bagian Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Operasi. Peran posisi ini diharapkan mampu memonitor implementasi dari aspek Keselamatan dan Kesehatan di operasi lapangan setiap harinya secara kerja bergilir berdasarkan Kebijakan dan Standar Keselamatan dan Kesehatan PT Freeport Indonesia (PTFI)/ Freeport-Mcmoran (FCX) dan Regulasi Pemerintah di Smelter Manyar dan Freeport Maju Refinery (FMR).

Tanggung Jawab Utama:

• Assist & Monitoring implementation of PTFI/FCX Health & Safety policy, SOP, Guidelines, Work Instruction, and compliance of statutory regulation in field operation to all company Operation and Contractor.
• Assist & Monitoring implementation of Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment and Control with all stakeholders in the field operation of each work shift on daily basis according to PTFI/FCX HS Policy & Standards and statutory regulation in each work shift.
• Assist & Monitoring implementation Fatal Risk Management (FRM) Program and assist operation team to ensure they are fully conversant with this program.
• Assist & monitor critical control implementation in field operation in each work shift with area supervisor.
• Ensure all high-risk activities provided with relevant and valid work permit.
• Involved in incident investigation process and ensure its corrective action implementation in the field in each work shift.
• Conduct Health & Safety workplace area inspection program in the assigned area and contractor in each work shift.
• Conduct safety inspection for facilities, equipment's, and plants in accordance with company's safety regulations.
• Seek & deliver Health & Safety guidance and advice in field operation to all Employee and Contractor based on PTFI/FCX Policy & Standards and Statutory Government Regulation to build the Companys Health & Safety Culture each work shift.
• Collaborate with Area Supervisor to communicate safety risk and procedures to employee to ensure that safety is integrated into operational activities.
• Continually seek improvement for operational safety excellence in the assigned area.
• Promoting safe behaviors to all employees to improve safety culture within the organization.
• Deliver area specific safety training and induction to employee.
• Maintain coordination & reporting to H&S Operation Supervisor on duty.

Persyaratan:

• Bachelors in a Health & Safety, Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy, Mechanical or other related disciplines.
• 3+ years experience in Health & Safety related experience in mining, mineral/metal processing especially in Health & Safety operation.
• Have a strong understanding regarding health & safety regulation and standard based on Indonesian Statutory Regulation and International standards (ISO, SNI, OSHA, etc.).
• Have a good public speaking capability.
• Good English-speaking skills orally and written.
• Willingness to work in team environment with culturally diversified workforces.

Kompetensi Inti:

• Have a valid Frontline Operational Supervisor (POP) BNSP Certification.
• Have a valid Occupational Health and Safety Expert (AK3U) BNSP or DISNAKER Certificate.
• Have a strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Have experience in managing health & safety operation of the following field are desirable:
• Bulk materials handling (belt conveying, pneumatic conveying, milling).
• Hydrometallurgy (electrolytic refining or similar).
• Mining (Washing Plant).
