Job Description - Project Sales Leader, Himel (Indonesia) (0094AJ)

Purpose of the job:

Sales leader as Himel Brand ambassador and drive territory revenue, focusing on the project environment. He/she will have ownership of the sales territory and will be entirely dedicated to driving long-term success. The ideal candidate is an experienced and proven sales professional with a strong network in the Electrical Market, project background, and strong relationships with related stakeholders (Specifiers, Developers, Contractors, and Panel Builders). He/she will interact directly with key players and provide technical and commercial support for Himel offers. We are looking for someone that can make a significant impact by having the ability to build, negotiate, and close large (complex) deals, someone that can lead, motivate, and gain the respect of clients.

Job responsibilities:

  1. To create & spec-in Himel brand into BoQ/ToR/RKS/other tender documents of projects.
  2. To maintain, manage, and aggressively close the projects into WON.
  3. To maintain and develop relations with Consultants, Specifiers, Developers, M&E Contractors & Indirect Panel Builders.
  4. Achieve personal target of the year as assigned by manager.
  5. Propose specifications for product and solution offers based on features of Himel products.
  6. Gather project information (secure technical specs and all related players/candidates).
  7. Manage project events such as consultant/panel builder/contractors gatherings to increase brand awareness and project cooperation.
  8. Coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders to secure project orders.
  9. Manage Project Distributors to increase sales and ensure efficiency; prepare monthly forecast orders and estimation sales quarterly.
  10. Prepare and plan marcom budget yearly and maintain awareness of market trends in the Electrical project environment, supporting promotions, branding, and events.
  11. Respond to customer complaints and comments.

Qualifications

Essential Professional Experience:

  1. 5+ years in relevant Sales & Export roles in Electrical products & solutions: Low Voltage electrical products, power distribution, industrial control products, etc.
  2. Project experience with the ability to build strong and committed relationships with Distributors, customers, and external partners.
  3. Strong project market experience and partner relationships with a proven track record in West/East Indonesia.
  4. Demonstrate strong leadership in terms of execution, influencing skills, and strategic initiative development of countries’ sales.

Desirable Qualifications:

  1. A wide network of contacts in the Electrical Market.
  2. Worked in leading companies in the Electrical Industry (Chint, LS, Mitsubishi, Hyundai, Shihlin, Panasonic, etc.).
  3. Good business understanding with LV product knowledge, product competitor knowledge, strong technical knowledge, interpersonal skills, negotiation skills, and customer relationships.

  1. Ability to be flexible and responsive in the demanding environment of a start-up organization.
  2. Good communication and presentation skills.
  3. Motivated and accustomed to performing and meeting quotas.
  4. Strategic view, teamwork, and quick execution with a sense of speed.
  5. Result-oriented with good interpersonal, analytical, and presentation skills.
  6. Willing to work under pressure. Accept challenges and meet commitments.

Education background:

  1. BA/BS degree, Electrical Engineering background is preferred.
