Project Engineer (1-year contract) - Your future position?
As a Project Engineer with Givaudan, the global leader in fragrance and flavour industry, you will play a critical role to support Project Manager in the successful execution of a greenfield construction project from start through to commissioning and handover. You will be responsible for overseeing engineering activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve project goals (safety, quality, budget and scope). In this exciting role you also will:

• Assist in maintaining project plan, budget and schedule.
• Collaborate with design teams to review and validate engineering designs and ensure they meet project requirements.
• Coordinate and oversee construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to safety standards, communication control, and timelines.
• Oversee quality control of deliverables, demonstrating technical excellence, objectivity and clarity, adherence to project schedules, applicable quality management standards, safety and security regulations.
• Oversee execution of the project plan(s) within approved budget, scope and timeline.
• Oversee the implementation of agreed procedures for method of supervision, document/letter form, procedure for approval, drawing submission and approval flow, and so on.
• Act as a liaison between the project manager, contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
• Identify potential risk and resolve/develop mitigation engineering issues as they arise during the construction phase.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, change orders, and correspondence.
• Review technical reports submitted by EPCm and Contractors that summarize results from tests and feasibility assessments, recommended improvement opportunities, calculated associated savings, and estimated incentives.
• Assist in the commissioning process, ensuring that all systems are operational and meet the specified requirements.

• Bachelor degree from Civil construction is preferred.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in engineering, including exposure to engineering projects involving resources from diverse disciplines, preferably in greenfield construction projects in Pharmacy or Food & Beverages industry.
• Proficiency in engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Ms. Project).
• Good command in stakeholder management and English communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of financial concepts (e.g. OPEX, CAPEX) and tools (e.g. SAP).
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Willing to be located at Cikarang.
