Project Control Manager

Min bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical) or related field, from Reputable University.

Min 10 years of experience in Project Control and Management roles, with manufacturing plant or factories project portfolio, in a petrochemical industry is advantage and oil and gas industry or equivalent position / industry, as Project Control Manager.

Previous experience in a leadership role with strong and proven leadership skills.

Good knowledge of construction and erection contracts and engineering principles.

Strong communicator, self-assured, able to work independently.

A thorough understanding of the project cycle, the ability to prioritise activities and to drive it to completion and to anticipate pinch points.

Experienced in developing and implementing procedures and systems.

Experienced in planning and executing project, construction, and commissioning activities.

Experienced in project budgeting and cost control.

Experienced with management project software such as Primavera, MS Project, etc.

Willing to be placed in Site Gresik West Java.

Responsibilities:

Prepare for Factory Construction, Project Planning.

Develops and implements standardized project controls to manage budgets, scheduling and quality for engineering, construction, and other types of projects.

Responsible for the construction and commissioning of new plant, and principal liaison with contractors to monitor the construction of the new plant until the stages of production operations.

Set up project management systems, policies and procedures for running of petrochemical plant.

Establishes controls and operating policies that identify, monitor, and mitigate risk factors that could impact the success of a project.

Creates standard methods for project estimating, procurement, accounting, work breakdown structure, contract management, reporting and other project related processes.

Ensures controls address cost or budget considerations, scope changes, supplier performance and other risk levels.

Provides guidance and consultation to project managers.

As Project Control Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and delivery of construction industrial projects including factories and manufacturing plant. This role will lead a team of professionals with relevant functions from engineering and construction.

Coordinate and oversee the implementation of all project activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, task assignment, and tracking of results through daily record keeping (actual vs planned).

Continuously review and enhance the performance of the project team.

Supported Project Manager for promoting and ensuring the health and safety of all project activities, employees, contractors, and visitors by actively implementing both company and industry best practices.

Take charge of daily project activities and collaborate closely with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) personnel and project team members, specifically in the areas of Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical Method standards.

Effectively manage and control costs associated with all project activities by monitoring and comparing them to the agreed-upon budget.

Deliver progress reports on project activities and provide coaching to enhance the skill levels of project team members, aligning with the predetermined skill development targets.
