Job Description

OVERALL PURPOSE/ROLES

Our Sales team supports our customers by providing clinical information about products, educational information, clinical training programs, and resources. We support healthcare providers and healthcare systems to meet the goals of the patients in their communities.

The Professional Medical Representative is responsible for achieving sales objectives, increasing market share growth of the product line, and representing and promoting the company within specified activities.

SPECIFIC ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales Activity

• Achieve targets and deliver high customer service to existing and potential customers.
• Conduct presentations/detailing to doctors, practice staff, nurses in hospitals, and pharmacists related to products and/or new products.
• Plan work schedules for visits weekly and monthly and prepare reports.
• Regularly attend company meetings, technical data presentations, and briefings.
• Monitor competitor activity and competitors' products.
• Work with team managers to plan how to approach contacts and create effective business plans.

Customer and Distributor Relationship

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.

QUALIFICATION & SKILLS

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in a health-related/medical major, preferably in Pharmacy.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in a similar position in the pharmaceutical industry (Vaccine Business Unit).
• Demonstrate initiative, strategic thinking, and creative problem-solving in response to communications challenges and opportunities.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively under intense stress and pressure, especially in a crisis/issue.
• Good knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and health issues.
• Strong skills in medical communication.
• Willing to be placed around Indonesia during employment.
