PRODUCTION LEADER / FOREMAN

The Opportunity

Join PT GIK TECH BERJAYA INDONESIA as a PRODUCTION LEADER / FOREMAN. This full-time role is based in Batam Riau Islands and will see you lead and supervise a team of production staff to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee and coordinate the daily production activities of your team to meet quality and output targets.
2. Monitor and optimize production processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
3. Ensure health and safety standards are maintained across the production floor.
4. Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, and training to production staff to develop their skills.
5. Identify and resolve operational issues, implement continuous improvement initiatives.
6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless production scheduling and planning.
7. Maintain accurate production records and reporting.

Qualifications:

1. Significant experience (min. 2 years) in a production leadership or supervisory role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the e-cigarettes industry.
2. Strong operational and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
3. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address production challenges.
4. Technical aptitude to understand production processes and equipment.
5. Attention to detail and commitment to upholding quality and safety standards.
6. Familiar with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Being fluent in English; a Mandarin speaker will be an advantage.
