Production Assistant 1 (Wood Factory)

Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and organizing daily production schedules based on workload and deadlines.
• Ensure the availability of raw materials and supplies for production processes.
• Track inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to replenish stock as needed.
• Collect and record data related to production metrics, such as output, waste, and efficiency.
• Monitor production processes to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
• Identify and report any defects or non-conformities in raw materials or finished products.
• Ensure that production activities follow safety guidelines and regulations.
• Monitor the condition of production equipment and tools.
• Report any malfunctions or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist in basic equipment checks and upkeep when required.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Industrial Operations, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in forestry, agriculture, or related industries is preferred.
• Basic understanding of production processes and equipment in a wood factory.
• May involve working in shifts, including evenings or weekends, based on production needs.
• Willingness to work in remote areas and adapt to varying environmental conditions.
