About the department

The GLP-1 Sales team in Novo Nordisk Indonesia consists of highly motivated people who are passionate about changing diabetes and in close collaboration with other internal stakeholders. We educate our customers on our products and more importantly the disease area. We help them to make the right choices for their patients, building relationships based on mutual respect, honesty and business ethic. The position

As a Product Specialist, you are the frontline interface with healthcare professionals to discuss the benefits and features of Novo Nordisk’s products. You have a designated territory where you oversee both financial and non-financial targets. Other role tasks are as follows but are not limited to:

  • Conducting a territory business plan, suggesting and discussing relevant action plans with your manager, and implementing the action plan in collaboration with marketing and colleagues within the function to drive the overall financial and non-financial performance of your assigned territory.
  • Maintaining up-to-date information on customers and the market landscape and reporting all the information into the company’s system on time.
  • Actively participating in exhibitions, symposiums, and congresses as needed to drive high awareness of disease management and knowledge of products among healthcare professionals and strengthen customer relationships.
Qualifications
  • Hold a minimum of associate’s degree with a strong interest in Sales.
  • Experience in Sales at a Pharmaceutical company (preferably in a Multinational Company) with a minimum of 2 years of experience and knowledgeable in the private market in Semarang.
  • Knowledgeable about products that require a strong conceptual understanding (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular) and can effectively present these products to stakeholders. Expertise in these areas is advantageous.
  • Have a strong ethical conduct sense, high degree of self-driven with a desire to influence.
