We are seeking a highly motivated Product Manager or Business Development Manager with experience in the Online Travel Agent (OTA) industry to drive growth, enhance our product offerings, and expand our market presence. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of travel technology, e-commerce, and customer experience optimization in the travel sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy & Development: Define and execute the product roadmap, identifying key opportunities to enhance user experience and increase conversions.
- Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Analyze industry trends, customer behavior, and competitors to identify growth opportunities and improve our services.
- Partnership & Business Development: Establish and manage partnerships with airlines, hotels, travel agencies, and other key stakeholders to expand inventory and offerings.
- Revenue & Growth Optimization: Develop strategies to maximize revenue, improve customer retention, and increase market share.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize analytics and customer insights to refine products, pricing models, and marketing strategies.
- Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with engineering, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure smooth implementation of product updates and business strategies.
- Compliance & Industry Standards: Ensure adherence to travel industry regulations, policies, and technological advancements.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in product management, business development, or a related role within the OTA industry or travel sector.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Travel Management, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of online travel booking platforms, GDS (Global Distribution Systems), API integrations, and digital marketing strategies.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data, optimize business strategies, and drive data-backed decision-making.
- Communication & Negotiation: Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills to manage partnerships and internal teams effectively.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, mobile apps, and UI/UX principles for travel websites and applications.
- Problem-Solving & Leadership: Ability to take initiative, solve challenges, and lead projects with a results-oriented approach.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with OTA platforms, airlines, or hotel aggregators.
- Knowledge of SEO, digital marketing, and conversion rate optimization.
- Hands-on experience with GDS (Amadeus, Sabre, Travelport) and API integrations.
- Familiarity with data analytics tools.
