Our client, one of Indonesia's largest and most well-known local skincare brands, is looking for a Product Development Manager to join their team. This role will be instrumental in shaping the brand's product offerings by identifying market trends, overseeing new and existing product development, and ensuring innovative, high-quality skincare solutions.

Job Description

• Stay up to date with beauty and skincare trends, consumer preferences, and market movements to identify potential product opportunities.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to determine gaps in the current product lineup.
• Work closely with the Marketing team to develop product portfolios, define unique selling propositions (USP), and create briefs for point-of-sale materials (POSM).
• Lead ideation and innovation efforts to ensure the brand remains at the forefront of the skincare industry.
• Oversee packaging development, ensuring alignment with market trends and brand identity.
• Provide strategic insights to help maintain a competitive edge in the skincare industry.
• Manage and mentor Product Development Executives, guiding them in executing product development initiatives successfully

The Successful Applicant

• Minimum 10 years of experience in product development, market research, or brand management in the beauty or skincare industry.
• Strong passion for beauty and skincare, with an eye for product trends and innovation.
• Understanding of packaging development and consumer aesthetics.
• A strategic thinker with a good sense of taste and creativity in product selection and branding.
• Ability to analyze market data and translate insights into actionable product strategies.
• Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, including marketing, R&D, and packaging.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
