Product Development - Footwear

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Footwear Product Developer is responsible for managing and executing product specification and development requirements under calendar guidelines for a given brand, material type and/or product group. This includes identifying and managing special tasks related to successful prototype, sampling, and production of products for a brand, as well as all timelines, milestones, technical specs, trim cards, schedules, and other related documentation. Follow-up on Sample Execution, Quality, Product Accuracy, and general Product requirements is also part of this role.

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Product Development and Technical Specification Management: Verify, administrate, communicate, and maintain accurate and timely product development specifications and schedules for market and production. Work with US Design, Development teams, Sample Room, and Factories to execute for upcoming market, season, and production needs. This includes ensuring quality product worksheets, specifications, trim cards, and calendar event execution are in-line with market sample deliveries and timely production. Ownership of communicating with appropriate Sample Rooms & Factory production partners for best execution is essential.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
• Knowledge of Footwear Product Development including technical specification management.
• Familiarity with Footwear Industry and US Market.
• Fundamental analytical skills and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a complex and dynamic environment.
• Self-motivated and ability to work independently. Able to self-manage and take ownership for given area of responsibility to achieve desired results.
• Strong office software skills in PLM, Microsoft Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat Reader/Writer, and NetSuite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to coordinate difficult situations with outside vendors and factory partners; cultural sensitivity is important.
• Fluency in both written and oral English & Bahasa.
