Product Cost & Supply Point Analyst - APEC

Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to analyze product cost and supply chain data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

Develop and maintain accurate and reliable supply chain and product cost data and ensure the product cost model is kept up to date on a monthly basis.

Ensure KPIs are in place to monitor performance.

Sales, Supply Planning and Procurement Support:

• Support the APEC Sales team in negotiations by providing accurate manufacturing ahead freight costs out of alternative plants.
• Work closely with Procurement in identifying latest cost down initiatives and assist in analyzing the impact on the existing supply chain – identify if a sourcing change may be required and ensure Procurement is supportive of any changes.
• Work closely with Supply Planning in the region to understand the impact of any product portfolio changes on the manufacturing or toll blending facilities, including impacts to warehousing, freight or stocking levels.

Project Management:

• Partake in Projects as a key team member, providing the analytical framework and recommendations to support future strategic directions.
• Facilitate collaboration among cross-functional teams to achieve key project goals.
• Identify and mitigate any project risks and issues, implementing contingency plans as needed.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, such as plant optimization and cost reduction measures, to enhance plant and supply chain efficiency.

Identify and assess potential risks within the supply chain and work with management to develop mitigation and contingency plans.

Compliance and Sustainability:

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and ethical sourcing practices within the supply chain.
• Where needed, support sustainability teams to identify sustainable practices into the supply chain strategy, including responsible sourcing, waste reduction, and carbon footprint reduction initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Minimal 5 years relatable experience in Product costing, MRP Planning, Supply Chain and international freight logistics.
• Knowledge of Sales and Operations Planning and/or Integrated Business Planning principles.
• Accounting qualification would be valuable.
• Strong technical skillset with competency in Advanced Excel or database systems.
• Strong data analysis skills (including advanced Excel skills). Ability to use data driven discussions to enhance business strategy.
