Job Description

The Product role at Traveloka provides a unique opportunity to be at the center of building the next generation of Traveloka products. It’s a blend of technical, creative, analytical, and leadership role in driving successful products or features from conception to completion.

You will be responsible for researching, defining, prototyping, and driving the construction, as well as managing communication with engineering, design, marketing, and operations stakeholders, and sometimes external contacts to ensure smooth delivery of the project.

Throughout your time, you will learn and grow at a tremendous pace through hands-on experience and one-on-one coaching from senior product leaders.

What you'll be doing:

1. Industry Knowledge & Business Strategy:
   Lead the research and analysis of competitive landscape, customers, product metrics, and latest internet trends to identify and fill the feature gaps and generate new ideas that improve operations process, user experience, and drive optimization.
2. Thoroughly prepare for various scenarios to ensure business can run on big scale smoothly.
3. Proactively jump into operational situations that require the right decision making.
4. Product Management:
   Translate product strategy into detailed requirements, operational processes, and prototypes.
5. Scope and prioritize activities based on business need.
6. Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, operations, and external stakeholders to implement new features and enhancements.
7. Monitor the key metrics of the products/features owned by the mission.
8. Work closely with the data team in conducting regular analysis and deep dives on the products/features’ performance.
9. Identify issues and improvement opportunities that can push the products/features’ performance forward.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree of any major discipline from top local or overseas universities with strong academic results. Background in STEM, Finance, Business Management, Design, or other technical fields is a plus.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience at top tier tech or engineering firms, banks, or a credible and good track record in supporting the growth of a business.
• Strong appetite to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Adaptive to changes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail.
• Good project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and deliver results within deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills verbally and in writing. Able to share one's thinking in a structured manner.
• Team player with proven abilities to navigate cross-functional stakeholders.
• Passion in making the world better through technology.
