Your role as a Procurement Operations Manager is to be the face of Procurement in business partnering the supply chain on all service and quality related topics. Manage capacity reviews for key materials and drive resilience process to proactively identify risks in the supply base and the implementation of counter measures. Handle and resolve occurring supply issues and calamities in collaboration with procurement portfolio colleagues, SC Planning and R&D. Leading the Procurement Operations organisation across SEA & Indonesia on Mould Health including investment and Cap-ex management.
Create growth and value for Unilever and our strategic suppliers from a deep understanding of our Category strategies and deployment of our Procurement strategies in our business.
Next to this, this role involves business engagement across functions like R&D (GDC&RDC), Brand and SC leads (CCBTs), SC (cluster & global), QA and global procurement networks as well as suppliers.
Exceptional communication skills, stakeholder management up to WL4&5, bias for action, influencing and project management skills are key elements for the successful delivery in this role.
Main Responsibilities
Driving and delivering Unilever programs to improve service and Supplier / Material resilience, while constantly looking for operational efficiency through programs like Digital Procurement.
Manage and minimize service risks driven by material supply issues.
Lead the EU supplier resiliency program development and implementation.
Proactive stakeholder communication to minimize service impact.
Build strong Procurement networks to deliver fast and brilliant saving / innovation projects.
Partner with product group quality to lead quality improvements with worst performing suppliers and support quality interventions.
Manage capacity utilization reviews including Mould utilization, Mould health and capex budget management.
Support Quality improvement programs and coordinate quality loss claims caused by material non-compliances.
Candidate Criteria
Experience & Qualification
3-5 years in FMCG Supply Chain (planning) or Procurement related roles.
English language skills.
