PROCUREMENT MANAGER

About the role

Reporting to the Procurement Director, this full-time Procurement Manager position is responsible for effectively managing the procurement function at PT Napan Persada. The Procurement Manager will play a crucial role in driving cost-effective and efficient procurement strategies to support the company's overall business objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials, goods and services.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts and monitor supplier performance to optimise value and quality.
• Oversee the procurement team, providing leadership, coaching and development to drive continuous improvement.
• Analyse procurement data and trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process efficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations governing procurement practices.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to understand business requirements and align procurement activities accordingly.
• Implement and maintain robust procurement systems, processes and controls.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior procurement or supply chain role, preferably within the manufacturing or logistics industry.
• Strong understanding of procurement best practices, including sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiation and inventory management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus.
• Proven track record of delivering cost savings and improving procurement efficiency.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing procurement teams.
• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or a related field.
• Willing to travel to our site.
