PROCUREMENT HEAD

As the Head of Procurement for PT. Sarakamandiri Semesta, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's operations run smoothly and efficiently. Based in Gunung Putri, Bogor, West Java, this full-time position will see you overseeing the procurement function and driving strategic initiatives to optimise the company's supply chain. You'll be at the forefront of supporting the organisation's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Developing and implementing procurement strategies to support the overall business objectives.
2. Managing the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, from sourcing and negotiating with suppliers to contract management and performance evaluation.
3. Identifying opportunities to enhance procurement processes, reduce costs and improve supplier relationships.
4. Collaborating cross-functionally to understand business requirements and align procurement activities.
5. Monitoring and analysing procurement data to provide insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
6. Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, policies and procedures.
7. Leading, mentoring and developing a high-performing procurement team.

Qualifications:

1. Extensive experience (5+ years) in a senior procurement or supply chain management role, preferably within manufacturing or logistics.
2. Proven track record of developing and implementing successful procurement strategies.
3. Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills to secure favourable supplier agreements.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and implement process improvements.
5. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
6. Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to build and manage high-performing teams.
7. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business Administration.
8. Mandarin language skills are a plus.

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience in food and beverage, traditional medicine, pharmacist manufacturing, or FMCG industries.
2. Knowledge of ERP systems and procurement automation tools.
3. Certification in supply chain management or procurement (e.g., CIPS, CSCP) is a plus.
