Develop and implement guidelines for purchasing systems and procedures.
Review contracts and purchase order (PO) terms to ensure compliance with company policies.
Conduct program evaluations to assess and improve purchasing targets (MK3L).
Analyze market and shipping conditions to evaluate material supply and prepare market analysis reports.
Lead and coordinate negotiations with freight forwarders and carriers to assess service needs and pricing in accordance with company procedures.
Oversee the implementation of work process management strategies within the export-import team.
Ensure the accuracy and quality of export-import documentation, including Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), Harmonized System Codes (HS Codes), Technical Data Sheets (TDS), and shipping documents.
Analyze requirements related to documentation, licensing, and export-import administration to ensure compliance with regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in any major.
2-5 years of experience as a supervisor or manager in export-import, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
Strong negotiation skills.
Leadership and team-building abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP systems.
Ability to source and evaluate alternative suppliers.
Familiarity with laws and regulations related to environmental management and occupational health & safety.
