Develop and execute procurement strategies for marketing services and media placement, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery for campaigns promoting family planning products. Identify, assess, and establish relationships with external marketing and media vendors, including advertising agencies, media outlets, and production companies.
Lead negotiations for contracts, pricing, and terms of service with suppliers, ensuring alignment with budgetary and marketing objectives.
Work closely with marketing teams to align procurement efforts with budget forecasts and manage spending related to marketing services and media placement.
Ensure all procurement activities comply with the company's policies and regulatory requirements, particularly concerning family planning products.
Stay informed about media trends, marketing innovations, and pricing benchmarks to identify opportunities for cost savings and improved service delivery.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, legal & administration, and finance, to align on procurement needs and objectives.
Draft, review, and manage contracts with agencies/vendors, ensuring deliverables are met and timelines are followed.
Evaluate agencies/vendors performance regularly, ensuring they meet agreed-upon standards and timelines.
Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, savings achieved, and agency/vendor performance for management review.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, marketing, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in procurement, specifically handling marketing services, media placement, or a similar role.
Proven experience in vendor management and contract negotiations.
Strong understanding of the marketing and media landscape; experience in procuring services for family planning products or within the healthcare sector will be an advantage.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
