Job Description

As a Process Safety Senior Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our client's operational processes. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing, implementing, and maintaining process safety management systems across operations.
• Leading risk assessments, HAZOPHAZOP studies, and safety reviews to identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Ensuring compliance with global process safety standards, local regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
• Providing technical guidance and training to operations teams to enhance process safety culture.
• Investigating process safety incidents, performing root cause analysis, and recommending corrective actions.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate safety best practices into operational workflows.
• Monitoring safety performance metrics and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Safety Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in process safety management, ideally within manufacturing, chemicals, or mining sectors.
• Strong knowledge of process safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, PSM, API) and methodologies (e.g., HAZOP, LOPA, SIL).
• Proven leadership skills and experience managing cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
