Reports To: Marketing Manager

Main Responsibilities:

• Leverage media relationships and cultivate media contacts within business and industry media to earn organic press releases.
• Develop and maintain relationship with media/journalists to pitch stories and create interview opportunities for our Executive team.
• Liaise with media to ensure positive write-ups on Cove through press releases, story pitches, and media gathering. Create opportunities to present and maintain Cove's appearance in relevant social events with communities, media, government, and business industry to strengthen Cove's public reputation.
• Act as a point of contact for handling PR-related issues and crises, and develop strategies to mitigate negative publicity.
• Work collaboratively with Marketing team (includes creative, social media, and brand marcomm) to craft stories about Cove to pitch to media and build plans for media community gathering or business conferences.
• Write all press materials including but not limited to property new launching, brand image building, business strategy, and expansion plans.
• Work together with Brand Strategist to engage a partnership with new media accounts/platforms such as podcasters or lifestyle news accounts (Folkative, USS Feed, etc.) to strengthen the awareness of Cove. Measure and report the effectiveness of all PR activities and campaigns on a regular basis.

Experience and Qualifications Required:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in communications in PR agency and/or media.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, preferably a strong writer.
• Have a proven strong relationship with top-tier media.
• Excellent organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects with minimum supervision.
• Can work independently and able to work under pressure.
• Experience in the PR or Communications field, with knowledge of the media landscape.
• Proactive and a fast learner with the ability to adapt quickly to changes while working independently. Native in Bahasa Indonesia; Fluent in English both verbal and written.
• Experience in event management and strategic partnership is a plus.
• Experience in Jakarta and Bali market is a plus.
