PHP Programmer Lead

Lead end-to-end development of web applications using Laravel and PHP.

Architect scalable and secure backend systems.

Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers.

Ensure code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and best practices.

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define system requirements and deliverables.

Maintain and optimize existing systems and identify areas for improvement.

Implement CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.

Manage project timelines, deliverables, and team workload.

Stay updated with the latest Laravel and PHP trends and technologies.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

5+ years of experience in PHP development, with a minimum of 3 years in Laravel.

5+ years of experience in leadership or leading a team.

Strong knowledge of OOP, MVC architecture, RESTful APIs, and MySQL/PostgreSQL.

Familiarity with Docker, Git, and modern deployment practices.

Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

Strong leadership and communication abilities.

Experience in leading Agile/Scrum teams.

Knowledge of microservices architecture.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP).

Experience with testing frameworks like PHPUnit or Pest.
