Personal Assistant

Job Responsibilities:

1. Become an intermediary between parties who want to relate to Director.
2. Provide alternative ideas and creative ideas to Director.
3. Fully responsible for all tasks assigned by the Management and Director.
4. Collect reports from all departments and summarize them in one report to be given to Director.
5. Assist Director in internal & external meetings.
6. Answer and respond to phone calls, communicate messages and information to the executives.
7. Perform work requested by the Director.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or other related fields.
2. Minimum experience of 2 – 3 years as Personal Assistant or Secretary.
3. Strong analytical thinking & problem-solving skills.
4. Good attitude, trustworthy, flexible, and confident.
5. Good communication skills in English (Proficient) and Mandarin (is an advantage).
6. Proficient in using Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Canva.

Warranty Smart began as a solution to expensive car breakdowns and a lack of security for second-hand cars in the Malaysian, Thai, and Indonesian markets. Previously active in the car hobbyist circle, the director noticed a lack of affordable maintenance and replacement parts, causing complications and acting as a barrier for those interested in owning a car.

A car is often considered a necessary but expensive liability. When breakdowns occur, many are unable to afford the repair costs, creating an even bigger problem. Broken parts or mechanical issues were often ignored, resulting in more expensive repair work or a complete and dangerous vehicle failure.

Consequently, while second-hand cars are often much cheaper, many still opt for expensive new cars due to a lack of security, assuming that second-hand cars are more likely to break down. This realization opened up a potential market for added vehicle warranties, helping not only protect the buyer but also encouraging the sales of used cars.

What originally started as a small project between 3 people has grown extensively over the years. Warranty Smart now has over 30 staff working around the clock, a headquarters in the bustling township of Petaling Jaya, and two sub-offices in neighboring Penang and Johor Bahru, as well as branches in Bangkok and Jakarta.

The number of panel workshops also continues to grow. There are now over 1000 registered and authorized workshops located throughout Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia, enabling a better level of service and convenience for customers. Warranty Smart is now the leading car warranty provider in Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia and continues to be an anchor of the local vehicle warranty industry.
