Payroll Associate, Regional Talent Solutions (Batam based)

We’re looking for a Payroll Associate to join our Operations team in the Regional Talent Solutions business (visit https://talenthub.glints.com for more information) to help grow our team across Asia. This role will report directly to the Payroll Manager and support end-to-end payroll processing, compliance, and operational efficiency for both internal employees and external clients across Asia.

What You'll Be Doing

• Payroll Processing & Accuracy: Handle end-to-end payroll processing for employees and clients, ensuring accuracy in salary calculations, deductions, and benefits.
• Tax & Compliance Management: Ensure BPJS, PPh21, and other statutory contributions are accurately processed and reported in compliance with Indonesian labor laws.
• Payroll Data & HRIS Management: Maintain and update employee payroll records using HRIS and payroll systems. Ensure payroll data integrity and confidentiality.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Finance, HR, and Operations teams to ensure smooth payroll execution and resolve payroll-related inquiries.
• Process Optimization & Reporting: Assist in automating payroll processes, generating reports, and identifying areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and compliance.
• Employee & Client Support: Address payroll-related concerns from employees and external clients, ensuring a seamless payroll experience.

Who We Are Looking For

• 1-3 years of experience in payroll processing, HR operations, or finance, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian payroll regulations, BPJS, PPh21, and labor laws.
• Proficiency in payroll software and HRIS systems (e.g., HubSpot, Talenta, Sunfish, SAP).
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with high integrity.
• Good English and Bahasa Indonesia communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for payroll calculations and reporting.
