(Part-Time) Programming Teacher for Kids and Teens Semarang Area

Timedoor Academy is looking for part-time programming teachers to teach students aged 8 to 18 years old in Semarang.

• Location: Ruko Karang Turi, Jl. MT. Haryono, Karangturi, Semarang Timur, Semarang City, Central Java

Timedoor Academy provides courses where children of all ages, as well as adults, can learn programming and design in a fun way.

Teachers for kids are not required to have professional programming skills since the materials will focus on logic and computers, utilizing platforms such as Code.org, Tynker, and Scratch. We will provide training on our curriculum.

For teens and adults, teachers are required to have learned basic coding, especially JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and/or Roblox. No teaching experience is needed for teens and adults teachers, as there will be special training to understand our teaching style.

Responsibilities:

1. Teach programming to elementary or junior high school students.
2. Report on teaching results.
3. Collaborate in teamwork to improve teaching quality.

Competencies:

1. Basic computer literacy.
2. For teen teachers, coding experience, especially in JavaScript, is preferred.
3. Fluency in English is preferable.
4. Good communication skills to work in a team.
5. Discipline, responsibility, and a mindset to guide students' future with IT education.
