(Part-Time) Programming Teacher for Kids and Teens for Malang

Timedoor Academy is looking for part-time programming teachers to teach students aged 8 to 18 years in our branch near Matos area, Malang.

Timedoor Academy provides courses where children of all ages, as well as adults, can learn programming and design in a fun way for students in Indonesia.

Teachers for kids are not required to have professional programming skills since the materials will focus on logic and computers using platforms such as Code.org, Tynker, and Scratch. We will train you on our curriculum first.

For teens and adults, teachers are required to have learned basic coding, especially JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and/or Roblox. No teaching experience is needed for teens and adults teachers since there will be special training to understand our teaching style.

University students are welcome to apply for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Teach programming to elementary or junior high school students.
• Report teaching results.
• Collaborate in teamwork to improve teaching quality.

Competencies:

• Basic computer literacy.
• For teen teachers, coding experience, especially in JavaScript, is preferred.
• Fluency in English is preferable.
• Good communication skills to work in a team.
• Discipline, responsibility, and a mindset to shape students' futures with IT education.
