(Part-Time) Programming Teacher for Kids and Teens for Jambi

Timedoor Academy is looking for part-time programming teachers to teach students aged 8 to 18 years old in our branch in Jambi.

Timedoor Academy provides courses where children of all ages, as well as adults, can learn programming and design in a fun way for students in Indonesia.

Teachers for kids are not required to have professional programming skills since the materials will focus on logic and computer basics using platforms such as Code.org, Tynker, and Scratch. We will train teachers on our curriculum first.

For teens and adult teachers, candidates are required to have learned basic coding, especially JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and/or Roblox. No teaching experience is needed for teens and adult teachers since there will be special training to understand our teaching style.

Responsibilities:

• Teach programming to elementary or junior school students
• Report teaching results
• Collaborate in teamwork to improve teaching quality

Competencies:

• Basic computer literacy
• For teen teachers, coding experience, especially in JavaScript, is preferred
• Fluency in English is preferable
• Good communication skills to work in a team
• Discipline, responsibility, and a mindset to shape students’ futures with IT education
