(Part-Time) Programming Teacher for Kids and Teens for Citraland, Surabaya

Timedoor Academy is looking for part-time programming teachers to teach students aged 8 to 18 years old in the Surabaya area.

Locations:

• Jl. Vila Taman Telaga TJ1 No 42, Lidah Kulon, Lakarsantri, Surabaya, Jawa Timur 60213
• Ruko Graha Indah Blok A.6, Jl. Gayung Kebonsari No.46, Ketintang, Gayungan, Surabaya, East Java 60235

Note: You will only be teaching at one branch. Please choose one or more branches that are closest to your location.

Timedoor Academy provides courses where children of all ages, as well as adults, can learn programming and design in a fun way.

Teachers for kids are not required to have professional programming skills since the materials will focus on logic and computers using platforms like Code.org, Tynker, and Scratch. Training on our curriculum will be provided.

For teens and adult teachers, a basic understanding of coding, especially in JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and/or Roblox, is required. No teaching experience is needed as there will be special training to understand our teaching style.

Responsibilities:

Competencies:

1. Basic computer literacy
2. For teens teachers; coding experience, especially in JavaScript, is preferred
3. Fluency in English is preferable
4. Good communication skills to work in a team
5. Discipline and responsibility with a mindset to prepare students for a future in IT education
