(Part-Time) Programming Teacher for Kids and Teens for Citraland and Gayungsari (Surabaya area)

Timedoor Academy is looking for part-time programming teachers to teach students aged 8 to 18 years old in Citraland and Gayungan (Surabaya area).

Note: You will only be teaching at one branch. Therefore, please choose one or more branches that are closest to your location.

Timedoor Academy provides courses where children of all ages, as well as adults, can learn programming and design in a fun way for students in Indonesia.

Teachers for kids are not required to have professional programming skills since the materials will focus on logic and computers such as Code.org, Tynker, and Scratch. We will train our curriculum first.

For teens and adults, teachers are required to have learned basic coding, especially JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and/or Roblox. No teaching experience is needed for teens and adults teachers since there will be special training to understand our teaching style.

Responsibilities:

1. Teaching programming to elementary or junior school students.
2. Reporting teaching results.
3. Cooperating in teamwork to improve teaching quality.

Competencies:

1. Basic computer literacy.
2. For teen teachers; coding experience, especially in JavaScript, is preferred.
3. Fluent in English is preferable.
4. Good communication skills to work in a team.
5. Discipline, responsibility, and a mindset to code the students’ future with IT education.
