(Part-Time) Programming Teacher for Kids and Teens Denpasar Area

Timedoor Academy is looking for part-time programming teachers to teach students aged 8 to 18 years old in the Renon, Denpasar area.

Location: Jl. Tukad Yeh Aya IX No.46, Renon, Denpasar Selatan, Kota Denpasar, Bali 80226

Timedoor Academy provides courses where children of all ages, as well as adults, can learn programming and design in a fun way for students in Indonesia.

Teaching Requirements:

Teachers for kids are not required to have professional programming skills since the materials will focus on logic and computer basics using platforms such as Code.org, Tynker, and Scratch. Training on our curriculum will be provided.

For teens and adults, teachers are required to have basic coding knowledge, especially in JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and/or Roblox. No prior teaching experience is necessary as special training will be provided to understand our teaching style.

Eligibility:

University students are welcome to apply for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Teach programming to elementary and junior high school students.
• Report teaching results.
• Cooperate in teamwork to improve teaching quality.

Competencies:

• Basic Computer Literacy.
• For teen teachers, coding experience, especially in JavaScript, is preferred.
• Fluency in English is preferable.
• Good communication skills to work in a team.
• Discipline, responsibility, and a mindset to code the students’ future with IT education.
