Packaging Designer

We are seeking a talented and creative Packaging Designer to join our dynamic design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating innovative and visually appealing packaging designs for a variety of products, ensuring that the packaging not only communicates the brand's identity but also enhances the customer experience.

The role requires a strong understanding of design principles, creativity, and hands-on experience with product packaging. Additionally, the candidate should be comfortable participating in photoshoots to capture high-quality visuals of the packaging for marketing and promotional purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop packaging concepts for products across various categories, ensuring alignment with brand aesthetics and functional requirements.
2. Work closely with the marketing, product, and production teams to ensure designs meet business objectives and packaging specifications.
3. Create visually compelling, on-brand designs for product packaging, labels, and other print materials.
4. Revise designs based on feedback and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure designs meet market expectations.
5. Support photoshoots to showcase packaging designs in real-world environments, ensuring high-quality visuals for online and offline marketing.
6. Maintain and update packaging design assets, including artwork files, mockups, and prototypes.
7. Stay updated with industry trends, competitor packaging, and consumer preferences to inform new design concepts.
8. Work on multiple design projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
9. Ensure compliance with legal requirements and environmental standards regarding packaging design.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Packaging Designer, Graphic Designer, or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing packaging design work.
3. Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.).
4. Strong creative vision with the ability to translate ideas into practical design solutions.
5. Experience in packaging design, from concept development to production and final implementation.
6. Knowledge of production processes for packaging materials (e.g., cardboard, plastic, paper, etc.).
7. Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and design principles.
8. Experience with product photoshoots, including preparing designs for photography and working with photographers to capture the best representation of packaging.
9. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
10. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with different teams.
11. Ability to take constructive feedback and revise designs accordingly.
12. A passion for creative design and innovative packaging solutions.
13. Familiarity with 3D rendering and mockup tools.
14. Knowledge of sustainability trends in packaging design.
15. Photography or videography skills are a plus.
