OSEA Supply Chain Planning Assistant Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present OSEA S&OP (forecast and last estimate) to region Senior Management Team
  • Define the calendar date for each country local S&OP meeting and regional S&OP meeting to meet Head Quarter submission due date
  • Establish and maintain the S&OP process in the OSEA region and work closely with China team for APAC S&OP process
  • Review the local country S&OP result by challenging irregularities from sales and supply plan to ensure that the submitted S&OP (forecast and last estimate) has been maximized to reach the target and is achievable at the same time
  • Weekly follow up with local countries to guarantee the plan is on track and anticipate any potential issues.

Demand and Supply Planning:

  • Allocate the demand to the most suitable factory respecting the factory capabilities, cost competitiveness, and lead time
  • Work closely with sales team to continuously review the sourcing plan to anticipate any change in market behavior, especially for sustainable energy markets
  • Besides using the region's available factories, establish close relationships with other region supply chains to get support on supply whenever needed
  • Maintain finished goods and raw material stock replenishment plan.

Region Business Strategy:

  • Key role in yearly Management Plan (MP) process by collecting demand and allocating to suitable factories
  • Highly involved in any business strategic discussion by supporting the decision with actual figures which are factual and achievable. Once the decision is taken, ensure the execution is going as per plan.

Intercompany:

  • Maximize IT solutions to increase process efficiency
  • Ensure the Group Transfer Price Policy is respected

KPIs:

  • Sales and Production Accuracy (maximize the result with achievable target)
  • On-time Delivery (avoid over-promising, maintain reliable customer service)
  • Days of Inventory Outstanding (balancing financial working capital target with business needs)

HSE Support:

  • Comply with Government Regulations & Company HSE Policies, Procedures & Rules.
  • Ensure that the requirements of the HSEMS are established, implemented, and maintained in accordance with the standards ISO 450001:2018 & ISO 14001:2015.
  • Ensure all related activity will refer to HIRADC.
  • Maintain HSE equipment in the Company.
  • Always remind colleagues to prioritize work safety and health and prevent environmental damage.

Work closely and collaboratively with local countries' supply chain teams to ensure targets are met and support for any obstacles. Act as the focal point of contact for commercial matters to ensure priorities alignment between sales and operation.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain.
  • Degree in sustainable engineering would be a plus.
  • Min 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing industries.
  • Experience using SAP (or equivalent IT system) in previous work experience.
  • Experience living overseas would be a plus.
  • Able to work under minimum supervision.
  • Able to manage multi-tasking high-priority jobs at the same time.
  • Intermediate level of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Power BI) – will need to perform a test.
  • Fluent English (writing and speaking) is a must – will need to perform a test; second language of Mandarin, Malay, or Bahasa would be a plus.
  • High communication skills – positive approach and strong negotiator.
