Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day plant operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with industry regulations.
• Lead production planning, inventory management, and resource allocation to meet production targets and quality standards.
• Collaborate with R&D, procurement, and sales teams to ensure alignment between production capabilities and business goals.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on lean manufacturing, waste reduction, and cost optimization.
• Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards specific to the chemical and fragrance industry.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance schedules to prevent downtime.
• Build and mentor a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
• Analyze operational data to drive strategic decisions and present performance reports to senior leadership.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in operations management, preferably within the chemical, flavor, or fragrance industry.
• Proven leadership skills with a track record of managing diverse teams and promoting an inclusive work environment.
• Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations in chemical manufacturing.
• Knowledge of supply chain logistics, inventory control, and demand planning.
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
