Job description

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Operational Transformation Manager to lead and drive initiatives aimed at enhancing our operational efficiencies and effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process improvement, change management, and strategic planning, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive operational transformation strategy aligned with organizational goals. Identify opportunities for improvement and optimization across business processes to enhance performance and efficiency.
  2. Process Improvement: Analyze current operational processes and workflows to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies. Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma.
  3. Change Management: Lead change management efforts, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder engagement throughout the transformation process. Develop training programs and resources to support teams in adapting to new processes and technologies.
  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with diverse teams across the organization to implement transformation initiatives. Serve as a liaison between departments to ensure alignment and foster a collaborative environment.
  5. Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of transformation initiatives. Monitor progress, analyze outcomes, and adjust strategies as necessary to ensure objectives are met.
  6. Reporting and Presentation: Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management to communicate progress, challenges, and opportunities related to operational transformation initiatives.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  2. 8+ years of experience in operational management, process improvement, or transformation roles.
  3. Strong knowledge of operational excellence methodologies.
  4. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  5. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.
  6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  7. Familiarity with project management tools and software.

Preferred Skills:

  1. Experience in a specific industry relevant to the organization (e.g., manufacturing, healthcare, finance).
  2. Strong understanding of digital transformation and technology integration.
