Operation Supervisor (Medan, Indonesia)

The Operations Supervisor will manage and streamline the entire operational process, including confirming IO processes, creating POs, managing goods receipts, and arranging deliveries. This position will act as the primary point of contact for the commercial team and publishers, facilitating effective communication and coordination with the operations team. This position is essential for ensuring that shipment processes are executed efficiently and that all documentation is accurate and complete.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Arrange, monitor, and track shipment progress and other operational activities.
2. Validate and convert key operational documents (IO, PR, PO) and ensure accuracy before processing shipments.
3. Serve as the primary point of contact for operational matters, facilitating effective communication and collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.
4. Oversee and streamline operational workflows, identify inefficiencies, and implement solutions to improve productivity.
5. Maintain accurate records and documentation for tracking and reporting purposes.
6. Troubleshoot problems, resolve issues or challenges, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
2. Experience: 4-6 years of working experience (including leadership experience) in e-commerce, logistics, or other related industries. Familiarity with Amazon Marketplace and Seller Central, or other similar marketplace/ERP systems is a plus. Familiarity with international freight, cross-border, or export shipment is a plus.
3. Skills: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with diverse teams across various regions. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple priorities under pressure. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with tracking systems. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail to identify issues and implement solutions effectively.
