Offline Editors – Film Production Company (Canggu, Bali)

One of Bali's thriving film production companies delivering world standard film advertising for leading international and local brands is looking for Offline Editors to join their team immediately.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting compelling narratives through precise editing, ensuring each episode is polished and ready for distribution. Your role will involve working closely with our creative team to deliver content that resonates with the audience and aligns with project goals.

Requirements :

• Open for local candidates.
• Experience editing content specifically for Gen Z and Millennial audiences.
• Knowledge of current trends in the digital and online space.
• Proven experience as an Offline Editor or similar role, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in both rough and final cut editing.
• Proficiency with editing software and tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and a solid understanding of editing techniques.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing polished and error-free content.
• Ability to bring a creative touch to editing, enhancing the storytelling and visual appeal of each episode.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with team members and incorporate feedback effectively.
• Genuine interest in finance, business, and trends, with a drive to make these topics engaging for a younger audience.

Responsibilities :

• Offline Editing: Edit raw footage into coherent and engaging rough cuts, focusing on story structure, pacing, and overall narrative flow.
• Online Editing: Perform final editing tasks, including color correction, sound design, and visual effects, to enhance the quality and coherence of each episode.
• Content Enhancement: Work with producers and directors to refine and improve the content, ensuring it meets the creative vision and engages the target audience.
• Quality Control: Review and verify the final output to ensure all technical and creative standards are met before delivery.
• File Management: Organise and manage media files, ensuring proper labeling, storage, and retrieval for efficiency and accuracy throughout the editing process.
• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the post-production team, including sound engineers and visual effects artists, to ensure seamless integration of all elements.
• Feedback Implementation: Incorporate feedback from team members and stakeholders, making necessary revisions to achieve the desired outcome.
• Technical Skills: Utilise editing software and tools effectively (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) to produce high-quality content.
