Job Responsibilities:
Develop and implement national sales strategies that align with the company’s overall business objectives.
Set annual sales targets for the regions and ensure alignment with the company's revenue goals.
Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities and potential challenges across different regions.
Lead and manage the regional and area sales teams, providing guidance, support, and performance management.
Recruit, train, and develop sales staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to achieve targets.
Foster a high-performance culture within the sales teams through regular coaching, feedback, and performance reviews.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the national sales function, including sales forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
Monitor sales performance against targets, identifying areas for improvement and taking corrective action where necessary.
Ensure effective coordination and communication between sales teams and other departments, such as marketing, supply chain, and customer service.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and retail partners.
Work closely with Key Account Managers to ensure that key accounts are managed effectively and that sales opportunities are maximized.
Address and resolve any issues or conflicts with customers and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in existing and new markets to drive sales growth.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional activities that support sales initiatives.
Analyze competitor activity and market trends to adjust sales strategies and ensure competitive advantage.
Develop and manage the national sales budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to achieve sales targets.
Monitor and control sales expenses to ensure they are in line with the budget and contribute to overall profitability.
Report on sales performance to the senior management team, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Ensure all sales activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Prepare regular sales reports and analysis for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and strategic insights.
Implement and maintain effective sales reporting systems to track and measure sales performance.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in FMCG Company.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth.
Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in SAP tools and data analysis.
Willingness to travel as required.
