Job description

The National Key Account Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts within the Indonesian FMCG market. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the FMCG industry, excellent negotiation skills, and a proven track record of driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, building trust and understanding their specific needs and objectives.
  • Sales Growth: Drive sales growth for assigned key accounts by developing and implementing effective sales strategies and tactics.
  • Negotiations: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with key accounts to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and trends within the FMCG industry.
  • Customer Insights: Gather customer insights to inform product development, marketing strategies, and sales initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, marketing, supply chain) to ensure effective execution of sales strategies.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of sales representatives to achieve sales targets and objectives.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or account management within the FMCG industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing key accounts and driving sales growth.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Deep understanding of the Indonesian FMCG market and competitive landscape.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.

Desired Skills

  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Fluency in Indonesian and English
  • Strong understanding of the Indonesian retail landscape
  • Experience in trade marketing and promotions
