About the Role
We are seeking a meticulous and highly skilled Motorcycle Frame Quality Control (QC) Specialist with expertise in welding inspection and ED (Electrodeposition) coating processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in quality assurance for motorcycle manufacturing, with a proven track record working with OEM standards.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the welding processes and ED coating applications of motorcycle frames meet stringent industry standards, contributing to the overall quality, safety, and performance of the products.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough inspections of welding processes, including evaluating weld integrity, uniformity, penetration, and overall quality.
• Inspect ED coating applications for uniform coverage, thickness, adhesion, and resistance to environmental factors.
• Develop and enforce quality control protocols specific to welding and ED coating processes.
• Conduct tests to identify welding defects (e.g., cracks, porosity, undercuts) and coating inconsistencies, and work with production teams to address and resolve issues.
• Maintain detailed inspection records, including measurements, defect logs, and corrective action reports.
• Train production teams on quality standards related to welding and ED coating processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and optimize quality control methodologies.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality control, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience inspecting welding and ED coating in Yamaha/ Honda OEM.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Welding Technology, or a related field, is preferred.
• Language: Intermediate level of English, both spoken and written, is a must.
• Expertise in visual and non-destructive welding inspection techniques (e.g., ultrasonic testing, dye penetrant testing).
• Strong understanding of ED coating processes, including material preparation and curing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, welding symbols, and coating specifications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or equivalent certification.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Experience with advanced coating testing methods (e.g., salt spray, adhesion tests).
