Motorcycle Frame Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Design and develop motorcycle frames using advanced CAD tools.
• Conduct structural and dynamic analysis to optimize frame performance, durability, and safety.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and testing, to ensure seamless integration of frames with other components.
• Evaluate materials and manufacturing techniques to develop lightweight and cost-effective designs.
• Perform simulations and physical testing to validate frame designs under various conditions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Address and resolve design and manufacturing challenges.
• Design welding jigs and fixtures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in motorcycle or automotive frame design and development.
• Past experience in working for a company that manufactures frames for well-known brands such as Yamaha or Honda is highly prioritized.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of materials (metals, composites) and their applications in frame construction.
• Experience with FEA tools for structural analysis and optimization.
• Demonstrated experience in the design of welding fixtures for motorcycle frames and production management for well-known motorcycle companies.
• Hands-on experience in designing welding jigs, fixtures, and production management in a well-known company such as Yamaha or Honda.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Passion for motorcycles and a deep understanding of their dynamics is a plus.
• Proficient in English (Advanced), both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in Chinese is a plus.
