Mid. Backend Engineer (Talent Pool)

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Medior Backend Engineer to join our client's team in Jakarta. As a Medior Backend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining backend applications and services for our client's projects. You will collaborate with a dynamic team of professionals in a fast-paced environment, working on exciting projects and contributing to the development of cutting-edge software solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable and efficient backend applications and services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, product managers, and designers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Design and implement robust and secure APIs.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and provide constructive feedback.
• Identify and troubleshoot software defects and performance issues.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve your skills.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of proven experience as a Backend Engineer or similar role, preferably at a medior level.
• Proven experience in leading a small team of software engineers is a plus.
• Strong programming skills in multiple stack languages, including but not limited to: Golang, Java, Python, Ruby, Node.js, C++, etc.
• Proficiency with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Must be able to work on-site in Jakarta or Bandung.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on complex backend development projects.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
