Media Relations Senior Manager
Vero, a regional, award-winning communications agency, is opening an opportunity for a Media Relations Senior Manager to join our creative, collaborative, and progressive team. This role is for a seasoned professional ready to lead and inspire while driving success for some of the best brands in Indonesia and Southeast Asia.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee media relations strategies for clients, ensuring the delivery of high-quality outcomes.
- Cultivate and maintain robust, high-level relationships with key media contacts across various platforms.
- Provide strategic insights into the evolving media landscape to clients and teams.
- Guide the development of media lists, invitations, and follow-up processes, ensuring seamless execution.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on media coverage, offering actionable insights to enhance client visibility.
- Represent Vero and clients at media events, ensuring meaningful and high-impact engagements.
- Address and manage issues that could impact client or agency brands effectively and proactively.
- Drive innovative approaches to media outreach and storytelling to achieve maximum results.
- Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in media relations or public relations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role within an agency setting.
- Exceptional fluency in English and Bahasa, both verbal and written.
- Proven ability to deliver strategic media counsel and develop impactful communications strategies.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate media coverage and provide actionable recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
- In-depth knowledge of agency protocols, procedures, and processes.
- A results-oriented mindset, with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Passion for learning and staying ahead of industry trends.
Travel and Place of Work:
Your usual location for work will be the company's office in Indonesia. Your place of work may vary depending on the Company’s needs, including Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia or other locations as instructed from time to time. Additional expenses incurred by you because of the Company directing that you work from a location other than your usual location, will be reimbursed by the Company.
Standard working hours are flexible, Monday through Friday. This may vary depending on workload and client needs.
