Mechanical Rotating Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Monitor Mechanical Rotating work on construction site to ensure safety, quality requirements, and timely completion.
• Inspect materials and equipment to adhere to safety and quality requirements.
• Report work progress to superiors regularly.
• Review Mechanical Rotating procedures and work method statements.
• Participate in job hazard analysis meetings related to Mechanical Rotating work.
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction, including coordinating with other supervisors, contractors, and superiors as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of experience, preferably in EPC in Mechanical Rotating Engineering on Medium/Large projects.
• Strong knowledge and experience in the design, selection, installation, and operation of mechanical rotating equipment, including pumps, compressors, turbines, and associated systems.
• Profound knowledge about all international codes/standards like ASME, DIN, JIS, ANSI, ASTM. Familiarity with industry codes and standards related to rotating equipment, such as API (American Petroleum Institute) standards and ISO (International Organization for Standardization) guidelines.
• Strong understanding of the design and operation of rotating machinery such as pumps, agitators, compressors, and generators.
• Thorough knowledge of processes involving design, selection, procurement, fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning of rotating services is required.
• Proven ability for equipment specification and selection and ensuring compliance from suppliers, preferably within an EPC contracting organization.
• Competent in Mechanical rotating protection methodologies with HAZOP experience.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Willing to work on a contract basis (1 year), and this position will be placed at the site office project.
