Mechanical Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Create and review Detailed Engineering Designs (DED) for mechanical systems in solar projects.
• Develop designs for water pumping systems and HVAC systems, ensuring efficiency and compliance with project requirements.
• Oversee and guide drafters in preparing mechanical system layouts and schematics.
• Collaborate with other engineering as well as project team members to ensure design integration and project alignment.
• Review the work of EPC contractors to ensure adherence to design specifications, standards, and quality.
• Provide technical guidance and support to contractors during the project execution phase.
• Assist in optimizing resource use and addressing mechanical concerns during project planning and execution.
• Contribute to feasibility studies and support the development of innovative solutions for project challenges.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer, preferably in the solar energy sector or related industries.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems design and implementation.
• Proven experience in water pumping systems and water supply systems for rooftop installations.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and their integration with electrical systems.
• Proficient in reviewing and developing Detailed Engineering Designs (DED).
• Skilled in supervising and coordinating with drafters.
• Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
